a novel
Set in a strange world where circus people can really fly, where a storm of ghosts roams the land and where plants can speak, we meet Damien, a young man with knots growing out of his head. Traveling with the caravans of flying people, Damien works for the Obeah cook, Ti, helping her find strange roots, herbs and plants. One day, Damien falls over the horizon and lands in a desert: a desert where all useless and rejected things end up. But he's not alone: Mother Earth is watching the little man who refuses to blossom, and in his pocket is a charming potato named Ochoa. In order to find his way back to the reality he calls home, Damien must learn how to unravel his knots.
A novel about the living energy of the universe, a fairytale about finding yourself.
Inspired by the philosphies of the Q'eros, last descendents of the Incas.
